That song was out quite a while ago, according to Amazon:

Hoes N Da House
~ DJ Uncle Al
Release Date: October 4, 1993
List Price:    $6.98

It traded on vinyl on eBay not too long ago...

The guy sounded like a great person - promoted staying in school, staying off drugs, non-violence, etc.  Regarding his murder, here is the who and why:

ARREST REVIVES MEMORY OF MIAMI'S HIP-HOP HERO
   DAVID OVALLE, dovalle@MiamiHerald.com
A Liberty City superstar, a charismatic talker and a beloved street DJ, Albert ``Uncle Al'' Moss reached his fans through underground radio stations.

It cost him his life. Nearly five years later, Miami-Dade detectives have charged another pirate radio operator, Darnen Fabian Watson, saying he shot Moss to death in 2001 because he mistakenly believed that the DJ had stolen his transmitter.

Watson, 42, is now jailed in Miami-Dade, charged this week with...

Um, I actually knew why. And I'm not really into promoting the trax that people jack from me and don't pay.
Im sure he was a great guy to some. But using my hooks without paying doesn't put him on my Great Guy list.
Funny, the guy that shot him felt he was stealing from him....Smoke.......fire?

I feel for his people though...pretty stupid reason to shoot someone.
But thats how these people roll in miami :idunno:

heh - I meant to write back another reply about the samples, mixes, etc.  I could hear several different trax mixed into the 1 album I could hear samples from on Amazon or all music (I forget which).  I wonder if he paid for any of it?  Starting with the cover/derivative work of Hoes N Da House - if he did not pay for that one, then I doubt he paid for all of the other cuts he threw into his other songs...  *sigh*

Messages were right, method was not clean...  :-(

Oh, and now I get the "it wasn't me" comment!!!
