I tried to shortcut and OCR/Babelfish it, but it came out incomprehensible.
If you REALLY want it translated, I may be able to hook you up; I'm friends with a few Dutch people.
Eh, vat do you know from funny, ya bastids...

If still interested in a translation, I could do it. I am Dutch.

What it boils down to is that is says a track was released that addresses apartheid and freeing Nelson Mandela. Thing is, Nelson Mandela was already released just before this track got out so it seemed outdated as soon as it got released. It also tells about Afrika Bambataa taking care of handing over a copy of the song to Nelson Mandela.

Orakle is in the hospital at the moment Bas, been there all week.  He should be out in the next day or so.  I'm sure he would LOVE if you translated it for him since he's wanted to know what it says for almost 20 years! :ha:

Here it goes. See the attachment!
You guys should have asked me earlier  :-D

The translated text may also be found below in case you need to copy/paste.

Hip Hop against apartheid
After Nelson Mandela was released from prison after 27 year, a maxi-single is released. In this song, a great number of well respected rap-acts ask for his release. ‘Mandela’ conveniently rhymes with ‘locked in a cellar’.

Wasn’t it known (at the time of recording) there was a chance he would be released?
Al T. McLaren of WarLock Records in New York: “No, the record was already recorded in October. Back then there was no indication he would be released”.

Doesn’t this nullify the message of the song?
“Absolutely not. The situation in South-Africa itself still hasn’t changed. They have released one man, but he still isn’t free. You know what I mean. Mandela still has to live in a country where apartheid is still a reality.”

Did Mandela receive a copy of the song?
”Rapper Afrika Bambataa took care of that. So he should have gotten a copy. At least, that was the intention..”

HIP HOP AGAINST APARTHEID
(The Jungle Brothers, Black Rock , Afrika Bambataa, Overlord X) is released  on the New York Warlock Record  record label.

You're welcome.

Maybe it got released after its US release here and thus after Mandela's release from prison.
Guess we'll never know now. It's been a while since all this happened.
